THE ROAD TO GRADUATE SCHOOL - TRANSITIONAL SUPPORT
Working with some students in this capacity and seeing the results has been the motivation for this new transitional support. When a student is clear that he or she will want to pursue some sort of graduate study, the earlier in college they determine this the more opportune because there is REAL prep that can and should be done at this time to enhance the student’s candidacy in the graduate admission process.
Helping to mentor college students in seeking and securing the right opportunities, supervision, coursework and more to shape their graduate applicant profile has been very rewarding, literally for my students and personally for me.
This work includes procurement of internship, research and work positions, resume and cover letter work, interview prep, class selection, supplemental coursework and more.
